Dear Mommy & Daddy's little man

Oh baby boy! You are the love of mine and daddy's life. I can't believe how close we are to meeting you... Mommy and daddy get more and more excited everyday because that means we are one day closer to holding you in our arms and smothering your cute little face with kisses :-).

I do want you to know that daddy has grounded you for trying to come out early. You are not ready to come out and mommy has a nice cozy little home for you in her tummy and that's where you need to stay for another 10 weeks at least. I know you're really excited to meet mommy, daddy and the rest of your family but you gotta wait just a little longer. I promise it will be worth the wait :-)

Oh and one more thing, when daddy asks you to kick mommy's bladder please don't listen to him. Mommy doesn't enjoy having to run to the potty because you decided to listen to your silly daddy. Mommy will buy you the biggest most awesome tonka truck or whatever your little heart desires as long as you quit kicking my bladder. Do we have a deal? :-)

Update!!

Wow it's been quite a while since I have been on this thing but I figured it was time for an update sooo hear ya go :-)

I am now almost in my 3rd trimester!! Can you believe it? I surely can not lol... This pregnancy has seriously flown by! If you don't know by now we are having a boy and naming him Logan Edward!! He is already the love of my life and I can not wait to meet my little man. He moves so much and it is absolutely amazing when I feel his kicks and punches. Troy just loves to rub my belly and tell Logan to kick my bladder and what does this little baby do? He kicks my bladder lol... Now as happy as I am that he already listens so well I wish this would be the one thing he wouldn't listen to his daddy about.

Logan is trying to make his entrance into the world a little too early but the doctors are doing everything they can to keep him baking until it's time for him to come out. I'll update more about that next week.

Hello 2nd trimester!!

Yep that's right!! I'm in my 2nd trimester... Can't believe it? Neither can I lol... The 1st trimester flew by for me and pretty much without any nausea which was so nice. My 2nd trimester is proving to be harder then my 1st which is odd because your 1st trimester is supposed to be the worst lol.

Baby bug is growing like a weed and I could not be happier about it. I am a bit more round these days but I am loving it! At our last OB appointment we were able to hear the most precious sound I have ever heard, our baby's heart beat!! It was absolutely amazing to hear!! We also got to see our baby bug wiggle away and even wave to us :-)... Troy is convinced it's a boy because he thinks it looks like him lol... I think it looks like a glow worm but Troy said the baby has his chin so it has to be a boy lol... We find out October 30th if baby bug is a boy or girl!!!!

As for Mommy, I am doing ok. My 2nd trimester is proving to be difficult. I have pregnancy insomnia and can't sleep for more then 5 hours at a time. I am starting to get migraines and I am sooo tired all the time lol. Everyone says that it's practice for when baby bug gets here but I think I should be able to sleep whenever I want right now lol. Even though this 2nd trimester is being mean to me I know that it's all worth it because in the end we will have our precious baby bug snuggled up in our arms <3

Who knew?

Who knew that being pregnant takes soooo much out of you? LOL I for one did not. No one shared that tid bit of info with me. I definitely would not change it for the world because I love my baby bug more then life itself but it's just so weird to think that  5 weeks ago I was a "normal" 22 year old with tons of energy and a healthy appetite. Now I'm exhausted, my boobies are killing me and everything looks gross to me lol. My body has changed so much in the past month that even I can't believe it. 248 days until we meet our baby bug, and I can't wait <3

Dear Mommy & Daddy's little bug

Baby Bug,

You are the size of a poppy seed right now and I can't believe how much of an impact you already have on my life. Your Daddy and I have waited so long for you to come into our lives and we feel so blessed to have you growing in Mommy's belly. We love you so very much. I'm already driving your Daddy crazy with the daily updates on your development inside my belly but I know he loves hearing about you :-)

We told the whole family about you today and everyone is so excited to meet you in 9 months. You're going to be one loved little baby bug. Everyone is already trying to guess if you are a boy or girl but all Mommy and Daddy care about is that you're a healthy little one.  Mommy promises to do all she can to make sure that the 9 months you are growing in my belly will be very healthy. Oh and don't worry Daddy is already making sure Mommy has lots of rest and relaxation. 

We love you baby bug and we can't wait to meet you in 251 days :-)
